Alecos Fassianos

ALECOS FASSIANOS (Athens, 1935)

Alecos Fassianos studied painting under Yannis Moralis at the Athens School of Fine
Arts (1956-1960). Between 1960 and 1963, he continued his studies in lithography in
Paris on a French state scholarship under Eugène Clairin and Georges Dayez.
His work has been shown as a number of solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Alecos
Fassianos also designs stage sets for the theatre and illustrates art publications. He
lives and works in Athens and Paris.
